Defining the pallet construction and understanding the interface between the pallet and the conveyor (pallet orientation) is a critical consideration in any project. Without true tapered curves, roller centers on the inside radius may be tight but can open to six inches along the outside radius. This can be an issue due to capacity and stability requirements since the bottom boards must maintain proper orientation and be perpendicular to the rollers. Alba’s True Tapered Roller Curves ensure the pallet will travel on the same centerline at the curve’s entry and exit points; thus, maintaining proper orientation and positively impacting throughput.
